Renovating one room really well can update the entire house.  The goal was to modernize the kitchen, but we were stuck with traditional elements like oak trim and arched shapes that weren’t part of the kitchen renovation. Instead of fighting with these less-than-modern exiting features, they were incorporated into the new space with a modern twist. Natural oak was used for the cabinetry, and arches show up in the range hood, custom table, and faucet shape.
